    Excellent smoked/bbq chicken!  The sauces are wonderful and the service is always great.  Great place to get a ham for Thanksgiving or Christmas, as well.

    This place is a multifaceted celebration of traditional southern country living.  It's a eatery, gift shop and grocery all under one eclectic kitschy roof.  There are bins of pork and frozen smoked turkeys.  The top three products are hickory smoked hams, smoked turkeys and turkey jerky.  You can eat the jerky on the ride home (wherever you live it's going to be a ride to Marshville )  and put a turkey and a ham in your freezer.
    The store also sells a wonderful variety of home made items from candies to all sorts of jams and preserves to chow chow to pickled everything ( pickled eggs, pickled okra  and old fashioned sour kraut).
    When you drive up if you see the smoker going it's lunch time!  Ribs, chopped pork, chicken.  All either plated or sandwiches.  Excellent and bring home some extra store made baked beans and potato salad.  All yummy as is the decadent corn bread.
    The people who work there are great.  And where else is there a place to buy and eat a smoked turkey drumsticks ?!   This place is a little bit of country heaven.

    Been coming here for many years and has always been delicious. The turkey is awesome! Definitely have to check it out if you're in town or in the area.
